Have been my own test rabbit for my home cooked meals and seriously getting a mite bored and tired of eating my experiments :). So, yesterday, decided to go out for dinner. Went with a Japanese food buff friend and we decided to go for something a little authentic and not the Japanese fast foods places like Sakae or Sushi or Genki... not that I am saying that they are no good... just wanted something a little different but reasonably priced at the same time.
I have eaten at this little Japanese Restaurant several times before and I really enjoyed the little place. It is tucked away along Jalan SS 22/23 Damansara Jaya, facing Atria Damansara. If you drive along the inner circle, this Restaurant is several shoplots before you reach Public Bank. The name of this Restaurant is not visible outside or it was kind of small that I actually missed it but it is located below very large signboard which reads Beauty Haven.
They have a large selection of Bento Sets and ala Cartes on their menu and the portions are quite adequate, even for a big eater like me. We just ordered a set each and one of my favorite tofu side orders, Age Dashi Tofu.
With 1 added Gohan (white rice), the bill came up to RM60.95 and that was inclusive of taxes. A very lovely fussy free meal. We arrived at about 7:30pm and since it was a weekday, we didn't bother to make reservations. But if you intend to go on a weekend, I would advice you to as the little Restaurant is kinda tiny with limited seats.
