These stingrays looked like giant leaves floating in the sea. Apparently these stingrays migrate biannually to more agreeable waters. As they glide silently beneath the waves, they turn the blue water to gold off the northern tip of Yucatan Peninsula.
Sandra Critelli, an amateur photographer, stumbled across the phenomenon while looking for whale sharks.
She said: 'It was an unreal image, very difficult to describe. The surface of the water was covered by warmand different shades of gold and looked like a bed of autumn leaves gently moved by the wind.
Oh the video below has nothing to do with the Stingrays. I saw it and thought that it was a good reminder to us about global warming.

Hi Che-Cheh. Yes, these are the beautiful pieces of nature, aren't they? Oh the video is not about the Stingrays. It was just a piece that I saw about global warming. Thought that it will serve as a gentle reminder to humankind :)
